Posting for my first time

Last night I posted my first question on justmommies.com.  I of course asked my forever question that is always on my mind. How do I get my toddler to sleep through the night.  I have not had anyone give me any advice but I look forward to getting some new tips.  When your a Mom, your baby is always on your mind. My son is always on my mind. All my questions; what can I do better? Is he going to grow up happy? So many questions so many worries. As I was reading through the website I got some tips for some good recipes to try for Aiden. I also was able to read some games to try and play with him. I am really enjoying reading he information on this website.

Venturing More into the world of Just Mommies

This week I have had more time to read some discussion groups and write some posts on JustMommies.com.  I found it very interesting in some of the discussion boards that you can't go into them if you are new the board. I find it a little unfair? But I guess some older members want some privacy and space. I found a lot of interesting stuff that I could use for Aiden. I found out some new games that I am going to try out this weekend.  I am still looking for more information on how to get him to sleep through the night. (Oh 8-9 hours of straight sleep I miss you.) I don't have the heart to just let him cry it out. I did try it one night out of desperation and he was so upset he threw up. So I am still waiting and praying.
In my next search I am going to get some ideas to help with his speech. He doesn't say a lot of words yet and I am pretty concerned. My nephew is 23 months and says few words so I really don't want to let it go till then.  The moms on the site seems to have a lot of good ideas and are very friendly. I am enjoying this website. When your a new mom, you crave so much information for your child. You always want to make sure you are doing a good job.

What do I choose?

Today I started my first assignment for my new online class. The professor asked us to find a discussion group that pertained to our hobby. Hobby? I thought to myself. As a mother of a 14 month old and a teacher who has time for a hobby. I was going back and forth and finally found one that I would actually be interested in reading all of the time. I found Justmommies.com. I thought it was quite funny that this little person has taken so much of my time that I could not think of anything that is my hobby now a days. I have gone on the site and thought it was very interesting though. It will give me a lot of useful information for my son.
